A 2-2 draw against Benin at the Stade de la Licorne in Amiens on March 23, 2024, was followed by an epic showdown against Uruguay at the Stade Félix Bollaert in Lens on April 26, 2024, where the Elephants triumphed with a 2-1 victory.
